Weekend at The Gestalt Center for Growth and Training (TGC) With Ernest McCoy EDS

Join us for an in-person process and the opportunity to experience self and others through the theory and practice of Gestalt. Come and be present in a process that includes a horizontal procedure. Former participants have shared experiences of growth, awareness, knowledge and humor as they participated in the Gestalt process with Ernest. Several participants have said “to get the most out of your experience bring a desire to understand yourself and others in the now”.
Ernest began training in Gestalt in 1973 and was in residency at the Esalen Institute for 3 years where he was trained by Jim Simkin. Ernest was also trained with Laura Pearls, Jack Mulgrew, Joan Fagan, Erma Shepard, Carl Rogers and Albert Ellis and many more. He has trained at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and The Gestalt Education International group in Germany where he co-lead trainings with Gerald and Willie Kogan. His uniqueness comes from studying the psychoanalytic theory, social learning theory, Humanistic theory and Gestalt. Ernest has practiced Gestalt in Prisons, Alcohol and other drug rehab centers, Colleges, Universities, Psychiatric hospitals and on the street of many cities around the world.
The process of experiencing Self is the process of experiencing Self in the Here and now.
If you choose to participate, please be ready to enjoy yourself and others in an environment that promotes ownership of your cognitive and moteric behaviors while accepting your strengths and limitations only if you choose.
